The Imperial Chili Cook Off

Chili! We all love it, and many of us are competitive about who's is best. How about you help determine who that might be!

Now an annual event, the chili cook off is free to enter (must register with ICP John Brett). To participate, a $10 donation will allow you to sample all participating chilis and cast your one vote for the best chili. And we all know that chili isn't complete without corn bread. So if you prefer to bake, bring your cornbread to enter as well!

Categories include - Best In Show (calculated by the most votes), Judge’s Choice (they cannot be bribed), and Empress’s Choice (she can probably be bribed). And we'll also have the best cornbread as well. Are these the only categories? For now...but some surprise categories might happen that day!

We will also have our standard open show (for those that wish to perform, please bring your music) along with some tasty jell-o shots for your after chili experience.

AND NEW THIS YEAR! Guess Juanita’s Chili!
Absolute Empress 56 Juanita More! has dominated recent Imperial Chili Cook-Off competitions. So much so, we’ve given her a category of her own! Attendees will be invited to guess which chili is Empress Juanita’s, & one discerning participant will win a prize! What MORE could we ask for?

Net proceeds of the event will benefit the San Francisco Night Ministry(a 501c3 organization in the State of California) through the Monarch's Charity Fund. The San Francisco Night Ministry provides community care for all on the streets of San Francisco and beyond.
